Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actress who gained notoriety in the late 90s for being Hugh Grant's girlfriend and an ex- English model. When Grant was at the centre of attention in the media due to his worldwide box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in an elongated black Versace gown held together with silver safety pins. The actress gained immediate publicity from the media. The highlight of Hurley's professional career has been her association with the cosmetics firm Estee Lauder. Her first modeling gig was at Estee Lauder when she was just 29 years old. The model has been a model since 1995 for the company's products, particularly perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington was her most famous part as a character in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999). The track quickly caused debate as some critics accused it for promoting same-sex relations while others claimed that the sexually explicit scene the song depicted sparked male fantasies of female sexuality. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit for Perry's The One of the Boys in 2008 due to the mix of sexual enthusiasm and polished melody. With its bouncy sharp-tongued second single Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album the songs Perry composed herself, eventually saw sales of more than three million copies within the United States.
